English Registration Guide

1. Click "Foreign Language" on Sakai City Government website top page.
2. Click "English".
3. Click "City Life Newsletter".
4. Click "City Life Mail Magazine Registration".
5. Registration
5.1. Click "メールマガジンに登録する (Register to mail magazine)".
5.2. Enter your email address in the red box, and click "次へ (next)" .
Then the message below will appear, saying that the provisional registration completion email is sent to the email address you have just entered.
5.3. Open the email, and click the URL.
5.4. Read the Service User Agreement and then click "同意する (agree)".
Service Information
- To use this service, please ensure that your mail account is set to receive mail from the domain @mailmaga.city.sakai.lg.jp
- Delivery of the mail magazine can be stopped or delayed by issues affecting the user’s telecoms provider or mobile phone reception
- Unavoidable system updates and maintenance by the provider of this service may cause suspensions of registration and update facilities as well as delivery.
- If your contact details change, please update them in a timely fashion. Email addresses where transmission errors occur upon delivery will be deleted.
- Registration for and use of this service are free of charge, but your regular
- Internet usage fees will apply.
- The user’s email address will never be passed or displayed to third parties without the user’s permission. However, relevant, non-identifiable information input during the application process may be used by the service provider for the production of statistics.
- To prevent the disclosure or manipulation of data, this service employs both a system administrator and a stringent security system provided by the service provider.
・System Administrator: details of the system administrator are provided along with the mail magazine introduction inside the Sakai City Mail Magazine Webpage.
・Service Provider: Smart Value - Please understand that we are unable to answer enquiries concerning the system this service employs or enquiries regarding to personal information.
5.5. Tick the box pertaining to the ward in which you live and your sex, and click "次へ (next)".

5.6. Click on the option “City Life (英文ニューズレター)” and then click "次へ (next)".
5.7. If the email address, your ward and sex, and the title of the mail magazine are correct, click "登録" (register), if you wish to go back and make an alteration, click "修正".
It says your registration is completed.
The confirmation email is sent to your registered email address with above text, saying “Thank you for registering to the Sakai City Mail Magazine." and the link to the Sakai City Mail Magazine Service webpage.
6. Change or Deletion
6.1. To change your email address or deregister, follow steps 1-4 as outlined above to this screen. Here, click on "登録を変更・削除する (Change or delete registration)".
6.2. Type in the email address you registered with and click "次へ (next)".
Then the message below will appear, saying that an email with the URL to change your registration is sent to the email address you have just entered.
6.3. Open the email, and click the URL.
6.4. Choose one of the following:① Change the email address ② Change your area/category ③ Deregister from the service
6.4.① If you wish to change your email address, input the email address you want to change to in both boxes and press change "変更".
6.4.② If you want to change your ward/sex and the mail magazine(s) you have subscribed to. Add new area details by clicking "エリアを追加する", and delete them by clicking "削除". Add or remove categories (different mail magazines) by clicking on "カテゴリを追加する".

「削除」 will delete your registered ward/sex
「追加」 will add a new ward/sex detail
「戻る」 will take you back to the previous screen
「削除」 will delete your subscribed mail magazine
「追加」 will add a new mail magazine （after you’ve selected it on the category screen）
「戻る」 will take you back to the previous screen
6.4.③ You can delete your email address to cancel your registration by clicking "解除".
Then the screen on the left will appear, syaing "Your registration has been successfully cancelled. Thank you for using the service".
