Life advice for International Residents in Sakai (free of charge)

The Plaza of Multicultural Exchange Sakai offers in-person and over-the-phone consultations for international residents living, working, or studying in Sakai. If you have troubles or questions in your everyday life (eg. how to separate garbage, or regarding bureaucratic procedures, etc.), the advisor will listen and offer advice. According to the nature of the enquiry, we may introduce you to other suitable institutions.

Consultations in 11 languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Thai, Indonesian and Nepali) are available through an automatic translation device, etc.

Consultations in 8 languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese and Thai) are available through interpreters and the triophone (a three-way phone interpreting system).

The Plaza of Multicultural Exchange Sakai offers online consultaions via Zoom with immigration and law experts in the 13 languages. An appointment is required by phone or e-mail one week in advance.

An administrative scrivener(legal specialist) provides a consultation service on naturalization application, visa application and changes, permanent residency application, international marriage, etc.
An appointment is required by phone. (Up to three groups are accepted)
