December 1st: World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day is an opportunity for people worldwide to raise awareness of the disease and fight against discrimination towards those that are affected by it. It is commemorated on December 1st and was first established in 1988. The red ribbon is a symbol of support against prejudice and discrimination towards those living with AIDS Sakai City is implementing HIV testing. Please refer to the table for more information.

- Please refrain from coming if you have a fever, cough etc. You will be turned away if you show such symptoms.
HIV Screening Test (schedule from December 2024 to March 2025)
1. Standard Testing
Results ready in a week at the same time and place of the test. Complete anonymity. No fee or reservation needed. No limit of people Test for syphilis and chlamydia in the same appointment will also be free.

3. Night Testing

4. AID’s prevention week temporary Night Testing
Complete anonymity. No fee or reservation needed and no limit of people. If you are taking an HIV test, the tests for syphilis and chlamydia in the same appointment will also be free. Results will be released from a week after between 18:00-20:00.
