THE DIGITAL BURIAL MOUND ENCYCLOPEDIA

It is a keyhole-shaped burial mound turning its rectangular part of the mound to the west side of the round part of Daisen Tumulus(Nintoku-ryo Tumulus). The scale of the mound is about 100 meters long, the round part about 63 meterts long and 10.3meters high, the rectangular part about 68.5 meters wide and 10.3 meters high. There is tsukuridashi at the west narrow part of the mound. The mound is two staged, with stones and clay figures, surrounded by a single-shield-type moat. The structure of the main part of it is unknown. The mound is under the supervision of the Imperial Household Agency a baizuka, but looking at its shape and scale, it is difficult to consider it a baizuka. Now, Osaka Central Kanjo Line crosses over the south side of the moat.
