THE DIGITAL BURIAL MOUND ENCYCLOPEDIA

It is a keyhole-shaped burial mound, constructed near the west side of the round part of Daisen Tumulus(Nintoku-ryo Tumulus), and has its rectangular part facing the south. The mound is about 87 meters long, the round part about 60 meters long, and the rectangular part about 40 meters wide. The shape of the rectangular part of the mound is low and short because of the cultivation is 1955. There is single moat of narrow width. The round part is under Imperial Household Agency's supervision, while the rectangular part and moat are under Sakai City's. The burial mound could be seen from nearby roads like Nagayama Tumulus.
