THE DIGITAL BURIAL MOUND ENCYCLOPEDIA

It is about 61-meter-long round burial mound on the west side of hatazuka Burial Mound. The staged mound has fukiishi stones and clay figures, and it is surrounded by a moat. The structure of the main part of the mound is unknown and no possesions buried together with the dead have been found. Guwashobo Tumulus is one of the largest round burial mound among Mozu Tumuli Group. Considering its position, it cannot be a baizuka(sub-Tumukus) of Daisen Tumulus(Nintoku-ryo Tumulus) or Misanzai Tumulus(Richu Tumulus).
