THE DIGITAL BURIAL MOUND ENCYCLOPEDIA

It is a keyhole-shaped burial mound in Mozu-honmachi, turning its rectangular part to the west. The mound is about 186 meters long, the round part about 96 meters long and 18.3 meters high, the rectangular part about 119 meters wide and 17.8 meters high. It is the fourth largest keyhole-shaped burial mound among the Mozu Tumuli Group. There is tsukuridashi at the southern narrow part. the three staged mound has fukiishi stones and clay figures, but the main structure of the masin part of the mound is unknown and no posserssions that were buried together with the dead has been found. There is a shield-type moat and dike around the mound. And the recent survey has revealed the evidence of the existance of a double moat. It is under the supervision of the Imperial Houshold Agency.
