Sakai Prefecture Sakai Prefecture continues to expand with a series of
mergers. At its height, the prefecture includes most of what is now eastern and
southern Osaka Prefecture as well as Nara Prefecture. |

Sakai Prefecture continues to expand with a series of
mergers. At its height, the prefecture includes most of what is now eastern and
southern Osaka Prefecture as well as Nara Prefecture.
