Sakai's Information Corner for International Exchange

In order to more effectively provide information to citizens with an interest in international exchange and foreign residents such as exchange students, the City of Sakai has established an Information Corner for International Exchange inside the International and Cultural Affairs Department on the fourth floor of the City Hall tall building.
The Corner provides information from a variety of sources. In addition to computers where visitors can browse the Internet and an information exchange bulletin board, resources include information about Japanese lesson for exchange students, Sakai's international exchange volunteer program, sister and friendship cities, and the Sakai-Asia Cultural Partnership Conference. Other sources of information include a video of the Sakai World Performing Arts Festival held in 2000 and displays of folk handicrafts.
