Exchange programs with Asian countries
In order to encourage goodwill and international exchange with participating cities in the Sakai-Asia Cultural Partnership Conference, the Sakai makes educational grants available to overseas students.This program is inteded for Residents and students living in Sakai between the ages of 15 and 69 who intend to pursue university-level studies in China, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.Recipients are expected to assist with the program for internationalization of the city upon their return.
