Candidates for the “SAKAI Peace Contribution Award”
Candidates should be organizations who fall under all the following categories:
(1) The candidate’s main office should be in Japan.
(2) Scope of the candidate’s activities should contribute to the realization or maintenance of world peace and the achievement of SDGs.
(3) The candidates should have ties to Sakai City.
※From the 8th Convention, requirements for the candidates changed as described above.
Ineligible organizations and activities
(1) Organizations where political parties or politicians are involved.
(2) Activities which are carried out by public servants as their official work
(3) Profit-making activities
