A total of 800 people attend the 2006 East Asia Monumental Tumulus Symposium
Researchers in archaeology and other disciplines representing China, South Korea, and Japan served as instructors at the 2006 East Asia Monumental Tumulus Symposium, held on Tuesday, November 28, and Wednesday, November 29, 2006. The researchers called for the speedy registration of the Mozu Tumulus Cluster on the World Heritage list, describing the site as “part of the world’s shared cultural heritage” and “an important legacy in our quest to understand the development of human civilization.”
